My Journey

So we are finally here. It is beautiful.

I am not quite used to smog free air so getting used to the temprature a bit.

Summary

The drive was not so bad. It took us about 4-5 days. We stopped in Calgary to see Jonah’s sister and fiance, Meagan and Dave. They were great let us stay there 2 extra days ( 4 days total) to visit. We got to play with our beautiful neices; Lucynda and Bre. (pictured below)

Travel

On the drive we slepted in the van. So we drove about 15 hours a day including stops for bathroom, gas and eating. Not having a shower bothered me a bit. Not used to it. But we were able to use the bathrooms in the morning for brushing our teeth and washing our faces. Kinda like what I did traveling by plane.

There was a lot to see on the trip. We says a moose and deer, fox, coyote, birds or all kinds, gophers, and butterflies galore. It was amazing and so exciting. 

In Calgary we were able to go see the Devonian Gardens. It is an indoor greenhouse; 2.5 acres. It is the top floor of a mall in downtown Calgary. (for pictures click here).

Tony

We ended up coming out with Jonah’s friend Tony.(he’s the guy in the picture). Tony was a God send he helped us take some of the many things we had and encouraged us to take some small appliacnecs my mom was thinking of leaving behind. Things like the ice cream maker, and the bread maker, and the popcorn popper. He is coming out to BC in a little while but until then he is trying to sell his car and now new truck in the Calgary area.

I am soon to start working on a little video of the trip as soon as I get all the footage of the camera and on the computer. I am excited to see it.
