When we were leaving many people asked…”What will you do and where will you live?”
We answered… “We don’t know… but we are trusting God.”
Well I know that we have been praying and others have been praying for us…
God worked out a miracle through our Brethren at church… Brother and Sister Robison. They offered us a portion of their land. On it a house and a trailer that have not been lived in for two years. Rent: Fixing it up, so that it is livable. Time Period: At least a year.
On Thursday we woke to a storm coming over the mountain. All the people I spoke to seemed quite excited. Later it rained a bit over the town which people like so that they did have to water that day. It was so beautiful. I friend of mine says it looks like a wave. What do you think?
I am now on the of the part time summer staff at the Lillooet Area Library Association. I began training on last week and it is challenging and a great way to meet new people. I can’t even remember the names of everyone who is there. I this a great start to getting to know the town make some extra cash and get known around town. We even we able to an offer on a house the United/Anglican church are renting through my new connections in the library. Though I am not sure if we will be staying in town.
Okay it finally got warm. Here in Fraiser Valley it has been exceptianallly cool. But last weekend and this weekend have been great. Beautiful wheather. About 27 degrees. Read the rest of this entry »
